Brief Introduction
Dr. Binghui Xu, born in Yantai City, Shandong Province, CHN, is working at Qingdao University as an Assistant Professor. He received Bachelor Degree from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Central South University (CSU) in June 2011, and then he was sponsored the same year by CSC scholarship from the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and UQ international Scholarship from the University of Queensland (UQ) to pursue his PhD study at School of Chemical Engineering, UQ. After receiving Doctoral Degree from UQ in May 2016, he works at Institute of Materials for Energy and Environment, Qingdao University under the Young Talent Support Program from September 2016. During his research career, he has participated in National 973 Project, Australia Research Council (ARC) Project and UQ Research Project. He has been granted one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project, one Young Talent Support Program from Qingdao University. His main research achievements are published in Energy and Environmental Science,Nanoscale and Electrochemica Acta, etc.
Research Interests
1. Design and synthesis of advanced graphene and graphene-based composites;
2. Preparation of electrode materials for advanced lithium ion batteries.
