Chao Wang, associate professor, three-level distinguished professor, master tutor, from Qingdao, Shandong. He studied at Qingdao University as an undergraduate and obtained a bachelor's degree in engineering in 2011. After that, he stayed at the school to continue studying for a master's degree. In July 2014, he worked as a project researcher at the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Processes, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In September 2016, he studied for a doctoral degree at Qingdao University under the tutelage of Professor Zhao Xiusong. In June 2020, he was awarded the Doctor of Engineering degree. In November of the same year, he stayed at the school to teach and joined the School of Materials Science and Engineering-Energy and Environmental Materials Research Institute of Qingdao University.

Chao Wang Mainly engaged in research on flexible wearable energy storage devices, and published more than 10 SCI papers in international journals such as Adv. Funt. Mater., Small, Chem.Eng. J. as the first/corresponding author, and 5 papers with an impact factor greater than 10, the cumulative impact factor reached 93, and 1 patent was authorized. He has won the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Qingdao University, the Best Poster Award of the 2018 Asia-Pacific International Conference on Energy Storage and Conversion, and the Best Poster Award of the 2019 International Symposium on Functional Materials.
